With job vacancies at record levels, wages on the rise after having
been stalled for many years and the so-called great resignation
underway, workers face a labour market changed beyond recognition
by the pandemic and other forces.
The workplace learning industry in particular is a volatile place,
with digital learning having taken a big step forward during the
pandemic.
John talks to Nick Jones, co-founder of Blue Eskimo, a specialist
recruiter for the sector. The balance of power between employers
and workers has definitely shifted with all these changes – but to
what extent is this a temporary blip, or a more permanent
transformation of the landscape?
